EDIT: I tried posting something like this in the "Job Offers" forum, but I got the impression that might have been the wrong place, based on what people were asking. I'm looking to spend roughly $20 per character, perhaps a bit more depending on the artist. This is not a commercial project, and I am not rich - just looking for a fun way to spend my Hanukkah money.
I know it's usually people who do the commissions who posts notes like this, but as I'm looking for a whole bunch of them I thought I'd post a note here myself.
I'm looking for people willing to draw original characters of mine in exchange for money (preferably by Paypal). I have roughly 30 characters in mind, and my goal is to commission artists to do as many of them as I can, within my budget. I don't expect one person to do the whole thing - I'm happy to spread this project around to a bunch of artists. So if you're taking commissions and you're interested in drawing one or more of my characters, send me a link to where I can see your prices and sample art!
More Details:
These are mostly characters from my home D&D and Pathfinder games, plus a few from an original modern fantasy setting of mine. A lot of my characters are humans, but there are also elves, dwarves, halflings, gnomes, dragons, kitsune, and others in the mix.
I'm looking mostly for waist-up art, or full-body for some of them. I'm only interested in color art, and I'm not interested in chibis. I have no visual references for my characters, but I can provide text descriptions of them in as much or as little detail as you'd like (depending on how much creative freedom you want). My characters are all originals, so there are no copyright issues with any of them. I'm not looking for anything R-rated.
I prefer to do payments via PayPal, but I'm willing to look at other payment options as well.
Thanks!
